About

Garden Hacks Daily is an independent vegetable-garden guide for home gardeners in the United States: beginners planting their first raised bed and gardeners a few seasons in who want bigger harvests with less guesswork.

It started as the Garden Hacks Daily video page on Facebook and TikTok, where we share short, practical garden tips. This site is where those tips get the full, step-by-step treatment, with planting dates for every USDA zone.

What you’ll find here

  • Clear answers to the questions gardeners actually search for: what to plant this month, when to plant each crop in your zone, how to build good soil, how to beat frost, pests and plant problems.
  • “Garden hacks”: small, proven tricks that save time, money and plants. Never miracle claims.
  • Honest gear advice when a product helps, and a clear “you don’t need it” when it doesn’t.

How we write our guides

  • Every guide is built from reliable sources: land-grant university extension services (University of Minnesota, Penn State, Cornell, UC ANR, Texas A&M AgriLife, UF/IFAS, Oregon State and many others), USDA, NOAA and the National Center for Home Food Preservation. Sources are listed at the end of each article.
  • We never invent testimonials, garden stories, yields or “we tested” claims.
  • Dates and temperatures are averages. Your microclimate matters, so we always point you to your local frost dates and extension office.
  • We update guides when recommendations change and show the update date on each article.

How the site is funded

Garden Hacks Daily is free to read. It is funded by our own guides (The Year-Round Vegetable Garden and Tomato Mastery) and by affiliate links: as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
